Into the Sunset was a beautiful love story set in the 1940s in rural Tennessee. Following the story of a striving actress and former soldier, this couple faced adversity and did anything they could to run away together into the sunset.

As my first step into the world of costuming for film, I learned more than I ever have about style choices, cohesiveness, tone and lighting effects, and overall storytelling. This was one of the most rewarding sets I have ever worked on, especially being directed by the multitalented Patricia Smith.

Having costume directed this film, I feel confident in my skills to remain historically accurate, and produce beautiful storytelling through functional garments, set dress, and props.
