Internship Diaries- Manifesting

What is the next step in my career, and how will I manifest that?

Currently, my next step in my career would be to continue helping with costuming whether it be for the Nashville REP or with Belmont University productions. I absolutely love working with costumes and hopefully would like to get into designing my own historical costume. One of my big goals for this year is to complete a fully period accurate costume with fantasy renaissance inspiration or victorian guidance. So far, I have set aside savings, bought certain pattern pieces to help with construction, and taken pictures of the many historical pieces from the REP’s site that inspire my own work. With my university’s resources and industrial machines, I should be able to make a costume up to my standards and prove my skills to myself and others while adding to my resume.
