Internship Diaries -Happiness

What is it about my internship makes me happiest? How can I emulate that in my future career goals?

This week’s prompt arrived at the perfect time. I love being busy at my internship and having consistent projects. Of course, being an intern, I’m often given work that consists of starting a task, picking up in the middle, or finishing a task. I don’t typically get to start and finish projects entirely by myself. I was recently just assigned the possible project of creating a period and painting accurate costume for Dot in the REP’s upcoming production of Sunday in the Park with George. It has always been my dream to design and build a historically accurate garment and I may finally have my chance. If the measurements are able to be given to the shop on time, I will be on my way to creating a full costume. Moving forward, I hope to continue making costumes from the past and pursuing my dream of historical costuming.
